Hub Politics: 3 Teens Arrested In Blackstone Water Supply Break-In:

"Two 15-year-old boys faced felony charges Wednesday in connection with a break-in at a water storage facility in this central Massachusetts town, where thousands of residents and businesses waited to hear if their drinking water had been contaminated. "

There was also a 15 year old girl with the two guys. She hasn't been arrested yet, but will probably only be charged with trespassing. However, the boys will be charged with malicious destruction of property, tampering with a public water supply and polluting the water supply, these are all felonies. Wow, what a record they will carry the rest of their lives. Even Wal-Mart won't hire people with felonies. What were these kids thinking? Where were their parents? Was the TV their babysitter? I know they are old enough to stay by theirselves according to the law, but it sounds like they weren't mature enough to really be left along because of the deep trouble they got into. Who is responsible for this? Just the kids or the parents also? That was quite a scare that the 9,000 residents of Blackstone and surrounding areas. They will know sometime this afternoon if the water was polluted or not. They could wash with the water, but couldn't drink it. Are our water supplies of the cities in America that unprotected? That would be an easy way for terrorists to bring another 9/11 terror to the U.S. I hope our youth in America today will decide it's time to grow up and be responsible adults. Maybe we should start at the top of our government and start cleaning up our act. No one is perfect, but we can make a change or a difference in lives if we reach out a helping hand.
